What if Star Wars were a retro style cartoon

This is the first of many of the series "What If BLANK Were a Retro Style Cartoon."

There's a reason "Princess Leia and The Baggy White Dress" isn't anyone's sexual fantasy.

The infamous Gold Bikini.

When I can do this, I'll know I've come far

So I really want to eventually animate John Cleese's silly walk from Monty Python's Flying Circus, but I am nowhere near skillful enough to actually do it. Here are the key frames, someday I'll fill in the in-betweens.

It's so silly! I love Monty Python.

Self-conscious Superheroes

Here are some drawings I did of superheroes. In one the heroes have an eating disorder and in the other it looks like she had some plastic surgery somewhere. Guess where.

( I really like drawing super skinny people. There will be more).

(I like big booties. There will be more).

15-second nudes

Here are some sketches I did in ink of nude women. I took 15 seconds to do each. Unfortunately, I didn't have a live model, so I had to google "nude photography" and time myself.

What I've Been Up To

Sorry I haven't been writing lately. But since I "finished" my house, I haven't really been up to much.

Here are a couple of things I've been working on.

This is the secret project for someone close to me. I've decided to post it even though I haven't finished it because I don't think she reads my blog haha
So she really want a Burberry trench coat, but can't afford it yet. She's starting he first big job soon and I though I'd make her a painting to hang somewhere for inspiration and to remind her of what she wants haha

I've also gotten into bird watching. Go figure.

And finally, this is my first little clay character to take a stab at claymation eventually.

Oh, and even though I said I had finished my house, I've still been working on it. It's back to being a boring gray for the time being, just so I can get the pieces in place. I added the detail on the porch roof and the curved supports for the tall columns.

That's all, folks!

Beautiful Day!

I just had to post these pictures so everyone could see how beautiful it is in Williamstown today!

The day was so nice we decided it was perfect for a nice drive to Pittsfield.

We found this little Italian cafe on North Street with the best Gelato and pastries!

Cookies on the house!

Can anyone tell me what this sign is supposed to mean?

I hope you are all having such a nice day, wherever you are!

PS
A bunny!

Finally "Done"!

And by done, I mean turned in to my professor. Of course, I could spend countless more hours tweaking and improving... And I also know that there are some mistakes here and there. But all in all, I think it looks good :)

Take a look! The pink and turquoise is my favorite color combination, but I also liked the blue and green.
Plese disregard the shadows that the house makes on the background haha Just imagine it's like The Truman Show.

Now that that's done, it's time for the next project! I will be writing about it soon so stay tuned.
